This policy explains what personal data MatchHub processes when you use the MatchHub mobile app and the matchhub.pl website, why, and what rights you have. MatchHub collects only the data the game needs to work.
Who is the data controller
The controller of your personal data is Arkadiusz Cichurski, a private individual and the creator of the MatchHub app (hereinafter “MatchHub”).
For anything related to your personal data, email support@matchhub.pl.
What data is processed
Your account
- your email address and password, if you sign up with email,
- data from your Google or Apple account (account ID, email address and, if you share it, your name), if you sign in with Google or Apple,
- your username and an optional profile photo,
- a referral code, if you use one or share yours with friends,
- codes used to verify your email address and reset your password.
The game
- the leagues and competitions you follow,
- your predictions, the virtual points you stake, your points balance and prediction results,
- your leaderboard position, rank, level, experience points, achievements and daily login streak.
Community
- comments, replies and reactions (likes) in match discussions,
- the people you follow and the people who follow you,
- reports you submit about content (e.g. spam or offensive content).
Your profile is public to other players: they can see your username, profile photo, stats, rank, leaderboard position and comments. Premium players can also see other players’ predictions.
Premium
If you buy a Premium subscription (MatchHub Pro), MatchHub processes information about its status – whether it is active, until when, whether it renews – and your customer ID in RevenueCat. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play. MatchHub never sees your card details.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, MatchHub processes your device token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and your notification settings.
Crash reports
When the app crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics collects a crash report: device model, OS and app version, the error trace and an installation ID. Crash reports are used only to fix bugs.
The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising tools.
Contacting MatchHub
When you send a message from the app (the “Contact us” option), it automatically includes the app version, device model, OS version and, if you have one, your RevenueCat ID. This makes it easier to help you. MatchHub also processes the content of your message and the email address you write from.
AI Analysis
Match analyses are generated by Google’s Gemini AI model, supported by the Tavily web search service, based on match data such as the teams, kick-off time and statistics. None of your personal data is shared with these providers. AI Analysis never makes decisions about you.
Why data is processed and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, the game, leaderboards, public profile, discussions, referrals, Premium | Art. 6(1)(b) – performance of a contract (the Terms of Service) |
| Push notifications | Art. 6(1)(a) – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your phone or app settings |
| Content moderation, handling reports, security, preventing abuse | Art. 6(1)(f) – the controller’s legitimate interest |
| Diagnosing and fixing bugs (Crashlytics) | Art. 6(1)(f) – the controller’s legitimate interest |
| Replying to messages and complaints | Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) |
| Meeting legal obligations, e.g. keeping complaint records | Art. 6(1)(c) |
| Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims | Art. 6(1)(f) |
Providing your data is voluntary, but you can’t create an account and play without an email address (or a Google or Apple account) and a username.
MatchHub doesn’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would have legal or similarly significant effects. Your leaderboard position and rank depend only on how your predictions turn out.

Some of these providers are based in the US. Data is transferred there under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or under the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

You can delete your MatchHub account and its data at any time. The data controller is Arkadiusz Cichurski.
In the app
- Open the Profile tab, then Settings.
- In the Account section, tap Manage account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
By email
If you no longer have access to the app, email support@matchhub.pl from the address linked to your account. Use the subject “Account deletion” and include your username. If you sign in with Apple using a hidden email address, include your username and describe how you sign in, and MatchHub will help you confirm the account is yours. Your request will be completed within 30 days.
What is deleted
- account data: email, username, profile photo, Google or Apple sign-in data,
- predictions, points, results, leaderboard position, ranks, achievements and streaks,
- your following and follower lists, settings and notification tokens.
What may remain
- your comments may stay visible in discussions without your username or photo, labelled “Deleted account”,
- backups, for up to 30 days,
- correspondence and complaints, for the period described above,
- purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings.

- restrict processing,

Children
MatchHub is intended for people aged 18 and over. MatchHub doesn’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. An account created by a minor will be deleted as soon as MatchHub learns about it.
The matchhub.pl website
The matchhub.pl website uses no cookies and no analytics, and fonts are served directly from the website’s own server. Whenever you visit, the hosting provider’s servers log technical data such as your IP address and browser type. MatchHub has no access to these logs. The provider processes them to keep the service secure and running, including in the US, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Security
MatchHub uses technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure storage of sign-in data on your device. No system is completely immune to attacks, though. If you notice anything suspicious, email support@matchhub.pl.

This policy may be updated, for example when new features are added. MatchHub will tell you about significant changes in the app or by email. The date of the latest update is shown on this page.
